The Corinth Central School District offers a comprehensive special education program to meet children’s needs at all ability levels. It is the district’s policy and practice to meet the learning needs of students who require special education service, in the general education classroom alongside their typical classmates as much as possible.
Programs and services available in the district include:
- Related Services-speech and language therapy, psychological services, occupational therapy, physical therapy, counseling, teacher of the deaf, and social work services
- Consultant Teacher Services
- Resource Room
- Special Classes
- Home/Hospital Tutoring

SPECIAL EDUCATION CLASSROOMS
Most of our students attend general education settings for the majority or part of the day in an inclusion based setting. There are inclusive opportunities at each grade level
However, our district also has 4 self-contained classrooms. Students in these classes are mainstreamed for electives and other courses.

Our Elementary Skills Classroom is a 12:1:1 and is taught by Mr. Bill Maguire.

Our Middle School Skills Classroom is a 12:1:1 and is taught by Mrs. Carol Schupp-Star.

Our MS Strive Classroom is a 8:1:1 and is taught by Mrs. Amy Fordyce-Adams.

Our High School Skills Classroom is a 15:1:1 and will be taught by Mr. Morgan Reynolds.
