UNDER CONSTRUCTION - DRAFT CONTENT

We will be piloting our own after school enrichment courses for above average students in Grades 2 – 7. Courses will need to be hands-on and exciting.  Courses should provide students with deeper and different exposure to content that they might not normally receive in school.

Each course will be given over 6 sessions (one per week) for elementary students and 8 sessions (one per week) for MS students.  We will offer courses M, T, and Th to coincide with late bus runs.

  • Selected elementary students will be asked to choose one course to attend.

  • Selected MS students can pick as many courses as they are interested in.

We want course instructors that have a passion for their topic!  Experience with children is a must.  Prior or current teaching experience is preferred, but certification is not required. Multidisciplinary ideas are encouraged! Instructor pay will be per session.  Corinth CSD will provide small budget for supplies and materials for each course.  Mrs. Schuh will coordinate the mini-courses once they begin.

If you are interested in teaching a course, complete the attached form and compile a packet.  Send all the requested materials to : Lisa Meade, Director of Student Services
